Preparations for the 2015 Conference begin with the unveiling of the official Logo

The official logo of the 36th CATA Technical Conference has now been unveiled. During a meeting hosted in Cyberjaya by the CEO of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia Prof. Mohd Mahfar, the logo was formally presented to the Executive Director of CATA, who applauded the management of IRBM for setting in motion early preparations for the Conference, scheduled to take place from 16th to 20th November. The Logo is inspired by Malaysia’s two most well-known symbols, the Jalur Gemilang (Malaysia’s National Flag) and the Bunga Raya (the Hibiscus Flower - Malaysia’s National Flower).  The Bunga Raya is placed on the foreground of the logo.  Its distinct petals symbolises the natural harmony and beauty of Malaysia.  The Jalur Gemilang is incorporated through the colours of the flag used in the logo.  Yellow symbolising the monarchy as the Head of State.  Red symbolising the bravery of its people against adversity.  White symbolising the purity of heart.  Blue symbolising the unity of the Malaysian people.  The crescent and star of the Jalur Gemilang represents Islam which is the official religion of Malaysia.
