CATA Management Committee meets in London

Members of the CATA Management Committee held their annual Spring meeting at Marlborough House in London, UK, on the 14th and 15th April. Also in attendance was CATA’s President, Mr George Blankson.

The meeting discussed a wide range of issues including the preparations for the 13th Triennial General Meeting that will take place in November of this year.  During that meeting, and in accordance with CATA's constitution, elections will be held to choose a new President and to establish the new Management Committee that will oversee the management of CATA for the following three years.

The Committee received and discussed the audited financial statement of the Association for the period ended 30th June 2014. Members also discussed the report on the Extra-ordinary virtual General meeting that was held in January of this year and made recommendations about this that will be tabled for adoption at the General Meeting.

Dr Mohd Mahfar, the Chairman of the Management Committee, expressed his appreciation to the members for their commitment and dedication to the affairs of the Association. He once again extended an invitation to all CATA members to attend the 36th CATA Technical Conference that will be hosted by Malaysia. The Committee also sent a request for members to volunteer hosting the 2016 Technical Conference.
