The Australian Taxation Office: Practical Experience of Pillar Two Implementation

The Australian Taxation Office proudly presented a workshop on their Practical Experience of Pillar Two Implementation in February. This session was facilitated by our Pacific regional Director and Country Correspondent Gabbi Jackson and Frances Horsburgh.

Attendees heard from Collin Yu, a member of the ATOs Pillar Implementation team, who presented on Australia’s practical experience of Pillar Two Implementation. Following Colins presentation, Nick Hackett from the Pillars Knowledge Sharing Network gave an overview of the initiative which was formed from the OECD’s Capacity Building network.

Over 100 CATA delegates joined the call, including representatives from Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Maldives, Malaysia, Barbados, and Mauritius! Its exciting to see the wider network come together to hear about other CATA members experiences with implementation. The Australian team would like to extend their warm thanks to the CATA secretariat team as well as the CATA Regional Director in Asia for their efforts in supporting this regional event. Finally, of course, to all those who joined us on the call!
