CATA as new head of NTO (Network of Tax Organisations) Council

CATA has been elected as the new head of the NTO Council with ATAF, CIAT, IOTA and WATAF making up the new Council members for the period 2025-2027 at the 7th NTO General Assembly in Panama City.


The NTO was founded in May 2018 in Ottawa, Canada, and brings together 10 member organisations; ATAF, ATAIC, COTA, CIAT, CREDAF, CATA, IOTA, PITAA, SGATAR, and WATAF that represent over 193 national tax jurisdictions worldwide. Jointly, the NTO aims to develop the capacity of its members and foster international collaboration and dialogue on tax in support of effective Domestic Revenue Mobilisation (DRM).


The International Tax Compact (ITC) facilitates the Secretariat of the NTO. The ITC is currently funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), co-funded by the European Union, and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
