Tax Assessment Diagnostic Tool
With the launch of the Tax Assessment Diagnostic Tool (TADAT), it is now necessary for tax administrations to develop a pool of competent staff to assist in carrying out the assessments. The Tool focusses on the administration of various tax heads- corporate and income taxes, withholding and employment taxes, value added tax- and identifies certain key “performance outcome areas” on which the assessments will be based.
The TADAT Secretariat has developed a course that can be accessed online. The course is hosted on the edx platform and is intended for tax officials who wish to qualify as TADAT Certified Assessors. Click on the link below for details about registration.
