Her Majesty applauds the “Young Commonwealth”

The annual Commonwealth Day was celebrated on 9th March with a cocktail reception held at Marlborough House London. Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales joined dignitaries from various Commonwealth accredited organizations, including High Commissioners and Ambassadors accredited to the United Kingdom. In supporting this year’s theme of “Young Commonwealth”, Her Majesty The Queen, in her speech, emphasized that “the Commonwealth can only flourish if its ideas and ideals continue to be young and fresh and relevant to all generations”.
